Perdita's lilac merle coat is a one-of-one — a soft silvery ground scattered with dapples, finished with pale blue eyes that seem lit from within. No two merles are alike, and hers reads like a constellation.

Like her 101 Dalmatians namesake, she's gentle, graceful, and quietly devoted. In her photos she's keeping careful watch over her plush mermaid — carrying it, curling around it, standing guard like it's her own little litter. That's Perdita: she picks her people, and she keeps them.
