His coat is a genuinely rare Isabella merle — a pale champagne base scattered with soft mocha-taupe dappling, fine freckling across the face and larger soft patches over his back and shoulders. The giveaway for true Isabella is the rose-liver nose and warm pink-lined ears, and Sven has both. It is one of the least common colour combinations in the breed.
